The company has performed a design study of a double mounted IGBT cooler for the railway industry. The design is aimed for a compact installation with low weight. The weight of the cooler is 10 times lower than an ordinary cold plate in aluminium. This is a low cost technology compared to conventional cold plates in aluminium but with a maintained high quality.
