Facts about OPGW 3H Joint Closure
OPGW 3H is intended for the installation of OPGW cables in power line systems. The joint closure is delivered with 2 OPGW cable entries and 1 blank plug, as well as the required number of splice trays depending on the number of fibers. When branching, the blank plug is replaced with a suitable cable entry. Depending on the design of the OPGW cable, choices of various accessories apply, i.e., FIMT kits, mounting kits, and brackets. The tables below help you select the accessories required for a complete installation. If the OPGW cable to be installed does not fit the accessories available in the tables, contact Tykoflex.
  • Mounting: With pole bracket 800 or mounting plate on wood, concrete, or steel poles
  • Dimensions: Diameter: 270 mm
  • Material: Acid-resistant stainless steel
  • IP Class: IP68 (2.0 bar / 24 h) / IP69, IP69K
