Splice-box Windstation facts

  • Developed for substation and wind turbines.
  • The closures base has the following inlets/glands: 4xø16, 2xø29 and an oval entry hole to allow uninterrupted Fiber splicing (mid span)
  • Connection panel for 8XSCD included in delivery. (Pigtails available on request contact Tykoflex)
  • Heat shrink Kit for sealing of glands and entry/exit points is included.( Branching clip with glue for mid-span, drying agent, heat shrink caps, emery cloth, instructions, 2 X Multicassette´s,  magnetic holder.
  • Bushings suitable for either cold or warm method possible but not included ((needs to be selected according to cable specifications) PG21 type) as Option the oval can accommodate cold method bushing type (TKN-O)
  • Please note that due to cable glands this box Is NOT IP69K ask us for further options.
  • Lockable with padlock cap 11 218 056 (not included)
