OPGW Certification Training at Tykoflex

This week, we had the pleasure of training fiber installers from CDM Konsult AB and BRS Networks AB for OPGW certification according to Svenska kraftnät’s requirements.

The program combined theoretical and practical elements, covering the history and designs of overhead lines, and included splicing, cable looping, and mounting on various pole mounts.

Our hands-on sessions utilized Tykoflex’s updated Joint Closure T240 and concluded with a tightness test of the installations.

This advanced training is tailored for experienced fiber technicians, ensuring they meet the stringent standards required by Svenska kraftnät.
