Quick couplings for tough applications and various media
Quick couplings are a key business area at Tykoflex. Our M42 model is a cardan quick coupling for pipes and hose systems with a simple as well as ingenious design. Made of galvanised steel, aluminium or stainless steel, the coupling guarantees complete tightness with regard to both pressure and vacuum – even in the case of angled positions, thanks to a hinged hook system. It also has an automatic locking device to prevent unintentional disconnection.
The coupling consists of two elements – one male and one female – with a thick sealing ring that comes in different materials for use with different media and temperatures. The Quick Coupling M42 can be used for anything that can be pumped, blown, pressed or sucked through pipes and hoses, such as fresh water, wastewater, sewage, sludge, powder and granular materials. And as we manufacture the main components ourselves, we can also customise the M42 model for different requirements.
Area of use
M42 is a complete range of quick couplings designed to enable the safe and rapid handling of pipes and hose systems. The couplings are produced in several dimensions and are available in galvanised steel, aluminium and stainless steel.
The construction makes the couplings extremely user-friendly. It guarantees complete tightness with regard to both pressure and vacuum, and can be used for anything that can be pumped, blown, pressed or sucked through pipes and hoses. All the couplings and fittings are manufactured entirely at our production premises in Tyresö, Sweden.
SAFETY LOCKING DEVICE
The safety locking device prevents disconnection resulting from e.g. vibrations and unintentional disturbance.
RUBBER SEAL
The thick sealing ring guarantees complete tightness with regard to both pressure and vacuum. The sealing ring comes in different materials for use with various media and temperatures.
ANGLING
The design of the coupling and the hinged hook system allows angling in any direction.
